We offer a presentation introducing the WMC for your classroom or student organization! Please submit a presentation request to have one of our trained consultants visit your classroom or student organization.

Writing Strategies and Peer Review

Description: This workshop addresses common writing and editing strategies to aid participants in their writing process. The workshop covers global writing concerns such as organization and thesis writing as well as local writing concerns with a quick review of common grammar issues. This workshop also has a portion devoted to peer review and workshopping.

Description: This workshop provides an opportunity to practice paraphrasing strategies, summarizing strategies, and integrating quotations. The workshop also addresses how to avoid plagiarism through the ethical use of sources.
